Round Stand Magnifier 4x

The Round Stand Magnifier with Distortion-free 4x power lens mounted in pre-focused stand (2.625" tall with 3.56" base). The A-2028 is equiped with an acrylic aspherical 2.25" lens, which unlike normal spherical lenses, is ground or shaped with variant radii calculated to produce sharp focusing right to the edge of the lens with higher magnification than is possible with normal lenses. The object must be viewed only from the strong convex side of the lens. Stand magnifiers, which use the aspheric style lens, are designed to set on the object which fixes the lens at the proper focal length, but hand readers should be tested by the individual user to find the best focal length to reach the highest magnification without distorting the image.
