Keeler Vantage Plus Binocular Indirect Ophthalmoscope (BIO) with Smart Pack Wall Transformer / Portable Power Supply
Keeler Vantage Plus gives you premium Intelligent Optics, lighter weight, brighter images and smaller size. The Vantage Plus Indirect Ophthalmoscope has a new soft cushioned headband, which delivers maximum comfort and reduces fatigue.
Keeler Vantage Plus BIO is 15% lighter and 20% smaller. The redesigned optics combined with Xenon light source offer brighter high definition retinal images. Keeler has designed a unique one-step movement to make your examinations easier and faster. Keeler's Intelligent Optical System (IOS) mechanism means that when you select the large, medium, or small aperture, the optics automatically adjust, providing 3 dimensional stereoscopic views of the retina through all pupil sizes.
1. Large Pupil: When looking through a large fully dilated pupil, the optics are separated and the light source remains in the upper position, achieving maximum stereopsis.
2. Medium Pupil: The observer's pupils can be moved until the best fundus view is achieved. The light source can be positioned where required.
3. Small Pupil: When looking through a small pupil the optics and light source can be converged, achieving maximum stereopsis.
The exclusive IOS optics designed in to the Keeler Vantage Plus Indirect allow small pupil imaging without any obstructions. Unlike the conventional optical systems found in other indirects, when "Small Pupil" is selected, there is no obstruction of the retina and therefore no reduction of your clinical information.
Keeler's patented HiMag Lens gives you a 1.6x additional magnification than with a condensing lens, providing superb stereoscopic images. The HiMag lens also produces unique views of the retina when used with a 20D lens. The Keeler Hi-Mag Lens is very easy to use. Instead of reaching for a condensing lens when you want to see with greater detail, you simply move in, and flip down the HiMag Lens. Keeler has also designed the entire HiMag lens to just slide (snap) on and off the instrument with ease.
This Keeler Vantage Plus BIO is supplied with the SmartPack power supply which combines three options in one transformeter. The Smart pack converts to be used as: a Portable power supply for domicilidary use, a Wall transformer for permanent exam room wall installation, or a Table top transformer/battery pack.
