Welch Allyn's iExaminer 6 Adapter allows fundus imaging from your Apple iPhone® 6, or iPhone® 6S. There are only three components needed to transform your Welch Allyn PanOptic Ophthalmoscope into a mobile digital imaging device:

- The PanOptic Ophthalmoscope
- The iExaminer App, Free Version or Pro Version Download App
The iExaminer Adapter aligns the optics of your PanOptic Ophthalmoscope with the visual axis of the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6S camera, allowing you to capture high resolution images of the fundus and retinal nerve. The iExaminer App then allows you to store the images to a patient file, email, or print as pictures. Welch Allyn's PanOptic provides a 5x larger view of the fundus than a standard Welch Allyn ophthalmoscope and a 25° field-of-view without having to dilate the pupil. Therefore, fundus photography can essentially take place anytime or anywhere.
