Aeromedical Slides for Titmus iSeries Vision Screeners
Aeromedical vision testing slides for Titmus models V4, and V2 are included as a package (above) with your new vision screener instrument. Aero-medical slides are also available individually as follows:
Slide 18082 (Test No. 1, SA-BRL-4) measure visual acuity. Results are calibrated at 20/20, 20/30, 20/40, 20/50, 20/70, 20/100 and 20/200. Tests can be administerd binocularly or with either eye occluded.
Slide 18088 (Test No. 2, SSLA-1) is used to measure visual acuity at far with results calibrated at 20/15, 20/20, 20/25, 20/30, 20/40, 20/50, 20/70, 20/100 and 20/200. Monocular test only. When test for acuity is better than 20/20 is desired.
Slide 18071 (Test No. 3, SCD-1) is used to test color perception, and consists of six accurately and authentically reproduced Ishihara Pseudo-Isochromatic plates. Detects color deficiency, but does not classify.
Slide 18073 (Test No. 4, SLP-1) measures lateral phoria. Desirable phoria scores are associated with quick, accurate eye fixations and precise, effortless seeing.
Slide 18089 (Test No. 5, SVP-1) measures vertical balance between the two eyes. Good vertical alignment is an important factor in comfortable, efficient, two-eyed vision and is related to efficiency in most occupations.
Slide 18081 (Test No. 6, SA-BRL-2A) measures visual acuity. Visual acuity test results are calibrated at 20/20, 20/30, 20/40, 20/50, 20/70 and 20/100. Tests can be administerd binocularly or with either eye occluded.
Slide package is supplied with lenses for aeromedical testing, including; prism lens unit for use with phoria tests to detect deception. Base-in prism for SLP-1 test, base-up prism for SVP-1 test. An intermediate distance testing lorgnette (36617) lens pair unit is included for testing visual acuity at 32 inches.
