The Titmus i250 Vision Screener is a basic Vision Screening Instrument featuring Peripheral (visual field) Screening capability. The i250 slides are advanced manually, yet it shares many of the design features and ergonomics of the i400 and i500 premium vision screeners: The Titmus i250 can perform peripheral vision testing in the horizontal visual field at 85, 70, 55 and nasal 45 degrees for each eye Titmus Comfort Height Adjustment allows patients of various heights, including children, to view the visual acuity slides from a comfortable position. This is essential for accurate vision screening results. The i250 features new long lasting fluorescent slide illumination which closely replicates actual daylight conditions, providing true white light for acurate color perception testing. All iSeries Vision Screeners include a folding handle for easy carrying and compact size. New soft headrest is easily cleaned with disinfectant solution and provides comfortable support for better vision testing results. This is also a standard feature on the i250 Vision Screener. The Titmus i250 Vision Screener features high quality membrane swithces to control right/left eye occlusion and peripheral(visual field) screening functions. Membrane swithces are ergonomically located at the side pocket of the instrument. This one compact vision screening instrument can screen for all common visual deficiencies. Commonly used for aviation medical eye exams to fullfil FAA requirements, it provides exceptional service to industry, medicine, driver's licensing and in school health. A special slide package is even available to facilitate preschool vision testing which features Efron Visual Acuity Tests for preschool children, handicapped persons of all ages and individuals with communication disorders.
